Yes, I ended up seeing the pirate movie. A lot of fun, and Johnny Depp is hilarious.

Anyway, should I see Bjork while I'm in SF, not to ignore the fact that she's performing with Will Oldham. I just don't know. If I decide to go, are there others who will keep me company??

Anyway, back to work, diggity, now. Oh wait, I need to eat, and then I'll work. Speaking of which, I've made the switch to soy creamer in my coffee. Hurray! Now there's just my cheese intake, my ice cream intake, my carb intake, my smoking, my drinking, my sessile life style, ...

I wanted to add some words I read today, from Barthes, _Camera Lucida_:
"I had understood that henceforth I must interrogate the evidence of Photography, not from the viewpoint of pleasure, but in relation to what we romantically call love and death."

Which is interesting, in this space, and because Barthes surely experienced pleasure in writing this. Anyway, naked photos lead to pleasure, but maybe SG captures a little more of the love and death of it all, even if that pretense pays the bills at HQ...
