So today, DemolitionKitten tried to beat me up for disappearing from her friends list. She's one tough customer. You betta watch it with her. She did that thing where she stands back and puts her hand on top of my head, and I'm just swinging and swingin and missin and missin cuz, she's like, twice as tall as me you know, and then she picked...

Yo DigDug!

My cats are pretty good about not fucking with the toys, It seems that because the shelves are so densely populated with toys - the cat's don't perceive them as surfaces they can walk on. Every once in a while there's a minor mishap - but nothing too frustrating.
takora:
hello Mr. DigDug. i hope this finds you well. i was sure i could offer some great tips on cat-proofing your pad, as i have lived with kamikaze siamese cats my entire life. but when i sat down to dispense the fruits of my experience, i realized something: i have never changed the actions, activities, or habits of any cat. i have always changed the apartment to safely accomodate them, and my entire place is laid out to give the cat maximum access to almost anywhere in the entire apartment, with just certain shelves placed strategically out of their reach. Mr. Zomboid's suggestion of filling surfaces with objects so they no longer seem traversable is a very good one, and it does work. and little battable objects on your nightstand-- yeah, the drawer works... much like Mr. Zomboid's shelves, my nightstand is so cluttered that the cat rarely tries to get on it. and do you mean the wire mesh window screens? i have never seen that behavior (but i have never had a cat who sharpened on furniture or anything, really). you might try clipping his front claws, if he'll allow it. does he rip up anything else? my cat also uses a cosmic catnip scratcher (www.cosmicpet.com/scratchers.htm). he loves it! perhaps that could distract him from the screens? if you are looking for behavior modification, i know some people who have successfully employed a water pistol... but i personally don't really condone that!

While on my back last night, my kitten sat on my stomach, placed his tiny paws over my mouth and proceeded to lick my entire face. Favorite areas: the nose (bridge, tip, nostrils), eye sockets and ear. I also found out tonight that he can run really FASSTTT, ever faster than Aster.....and he sounds like James Cagney

I've been waiting forever for the DVD of Modesty Blaise to be released, after having missed the screening at last year's mods & rockers film fest.
The first scene looked promising with Monica Vitti being awoken by her Asian manservant in her minimal 60s version of the future decor revolving bedroom. Unfortunately, it was pretty bad and pretty boring. There were a few really funny...

Like Penelope, I too tried to regale you all with tales of Saturday night at Bang!, only to be squelched by a frozen computer.
I'll try again now. Superfun! I got to see some great SGers, including the ber-adorable thirtyseven and the always gorgeous SG Penelope (look for that photo sometime this week on www.clubbang.net). I can't remember if I actually spent a bunch of...

I just bought this book on the french new wave. It is called french new wave. In describing the work of Claude Lelouch, the author, Jean Douchet says "Although there is no question that Lelouch adored cinema, it can't be said that cinema appreciated the gesture."
good book.

Thanks again for everyone's kind words. Today is a good day!
