A very strange thing happened to me on the way home from work today. We are currently enjoying summer hours, which means I can go home at 1:30 (yaay!). So, I'm driving down LaBrea and I see FOUR separate accidents in less than a mile?!?!?!
What the fuck is going on??? One was pretty bad and required an ambulence, another was not as bad but one car's hood was completely folded upward. The other two were minor fender benders, but I couldn't believe the amount of automobile mayhem in such a short distance. I got a little scared after I saw the 4th one, cuz it felt as if some strange forces were at work on LaBrea Avenue. It was really kinda eerie.

I've never seen an Avanti IRL but they look awesome in photos! Definateley ahead of their time. Why are you "chicken" to get one?

Yup, I'm taking the big gamble. The Hawk will be my only car. At least the Hawk will look cool even if it isn't in perfect shape. I can see how an Avanti that has a few blemishes here and there could look like a cheesy '70s car. Avantis are also frightening because one of those big supercharged engines could get a person into trouble...
