Does anyone know why it is that when a telvision sitcom stars a stand up comic, the show is always named after the comic's real name (Seinfeld, Rosanne, Martin Lawrence, Bob Newhart, Drew Carey, etc.) Are they just too stupid? Is it that if another actor on the show called them by their character's name, they wouldn't respond? I don't get it. The only exceptions I could think of are Redd Foxx and Robin Williams. I guess Mork couldn't really be called ROBIN! Any other examples that break this rule? Good Times doesn't count, cuz it can be argued that Jimmie Walker was not "the star" of the show.
