hot hot heat - island of the honest man

just got back from Spring Break tonight. it was a good drve, and the time went by pretty quickly. rocked out to some really old mixes (hadn't heard son of sam or the get up kids in a while), and it went well. other than that, we got home and ended up watching a romantic movie. it was a pretty standard flick, and i think it was a good idea to watch it. a nice change of pace, and also, that it was not some "compromise" where i just pick something, was also nice. to see a movie with no violence. oh well, it is a Sunday.
hm. the movie was "the notebook".
school is back on tomorrow and i am hoping to make a better go of it this semester than last. i guess everyone says that though. it was good to see the folks and a few of my friends back home. had some good home cooking, watched the cats run and frolic, it was snowing of course. now, watching some Justice League and being tired. not too tired though as i do have class at 250 tomorrow, so no need to get to bed early.
well. i think that covers it.
