today it is actually kind of nice out. probably around 39 out, but that is much better than the past few days. well. i have two papers due on Thursday for classes that i am not frequently in heh. not looking forward to reading about 200ish pages in that much time and formulating a coherent paper on it. well, such is life. as Devo said "i must do what i must do..." (what i must do). i do love DEVO.
the show last Saturday was amazing. the Amino Acids were unlike anything i had seen in a long time. very stylized and hey they had a theremin. if you have yet to hear one played, it is great. seeing it played is amazing as well. it works of the proximity of your hands, vibrations to the antenas (sp!) and it was great. The Slats, as always, delivered a rock performace, i almost had to change my pants it was so good. other than that, the Miracles of God were amazing. good to see Sam still rocking out, even from his (temporary) wheel chair. other thantthat i am procrastinating and happy to have made more friends, so hello to all you IC people! maybe we can arrange a meetup or at least plan on going to get drunk at a show, what is coming up at gabes? http://www.gabesoasis.com
A is Jump, Legendary Shack Shakers, Against Me, and Xiu Xiu towards the end of next month. sounds good. well. there are hashbrowns to eat and a cat to bother.
