I had two tickets to see my favorite band (The National) for the first time on the 25th of this month but I gave them away to a good friend. He gave me good advice to pick myself up when I was feeling down and he made me feel like I mattered. I had planned to surprise him with the tickets. Before I could give them to him he told about having to put down his cat due to cancer after wasting so much money trying to save him. I knew then I made the right choice. I hope to meet more good people like him in this world. As for my favorite band, I'm sure I'll catch them another time.
