just got back from visiting a bunch of friends in Atlanta. Great town...bunch of "touristy" stuff to do.

On Friday i toured CNN while this was going on outside:

it was a protest to bring attention to the Ethiopian dictatorship.

also went to see Rocky Horror for the first time in like 10 years. i quickly realized i forgot almost everything about the show..blush

on Saturday we went to 6 flags and experienced:

the superman

the batman

the deja vu - GREAT coaster by the way... biggrin. we spent 3 hours waiting in line. when we were next, the seat i was going to sit in malfunctioned - the shoulder harness wouldn't release. surreal

then we rode

the mindbender

by then we had to go... frown because of how long we waited for deja vu

that night we went to see Cake in downtown Atlanta. they have started doing everything on their own...label... booking...everything. cool show!

I'm also having some major job issues.

i feel trapped in the dayjob industry i work in.

to see if a change of scenery would help, i applied for and got another job that is kind of similar. i started getting a bad feeling when the company hired to do my background check called me and:

1) asked for proof of business information for the company i currently own. i refused to give it up. they should be able to get all the info they need from the state.

2) they asked for contact info for some of my former employers. i had put that info on all paperwork i filled out to *get* the job.

surreal

I'm feel like someone is trying to tell me something. i'm thinking i should try and rescue my current company and start putting the resume out there.
