My Sister had all the Covid 19 symptoms and we are pretty sure she has had it but as she has no transport she couldn't get to the testing drive through 20 miles away. She works at a care home and several of the residents she cared for died from Covid 19. She self isolated for the seven days the UK government say you need to get back to work but she was still very sick, her fever was down but still had the cough, difficulty breathing and drained. Work said if she didn't go to the test centre she could lose her job so she had to walk to her Doctors and she was checked over, the Doctor said he thought she had Covid and signed her off for two more weeks, but did not test her as he had no tests. She is probably 70% better, she has energy back, her breathing is getting stronger but she still has a cough. She is back to work at the care home on Saturday. She is one of the true heroes !! Been so frustrating not being there for her but as my Mum is 80 and I have health problems we are both in lockdown. And if all this were not enough today , yesterday now as its 1:18am , is the one year Anniversary of loosing our Dad to cancer. We had planned for the family to go see the book of remembrance at the crematorium and then have a meal but everything is locked down here. But even though we can only communicate by text, WhatsApp, phone, and talking out the window, the family will get through this!!
