Firstly I want to say that I mean no offence to anyone, I am just making observations about how things can be complicated. Apparently if I see a photo of someone on Instagram I have to check their profile to see what pronouns they use before I compliment them. I saw a photo of two Beautiful women and said as a comment ' lovely photo of two Beautiful labies'. I was criticised by someone , not either of the people in the photo, for not checking the profiles as one uses the pronouns they, he so i should have said 'lovely photo of a handsome man and Beautiful goddess' . I Never intended to cause any offence to the people in the photo or any of their friends!! I guess from now on if I don't follow the people in a photo i need to check their profiles or refer to everyone I am not familiar with in gender neutral terms.

The fact that you care enough to check and try to use preferred pronouns is a wonderful thing. Most people I know that have a preference are willing to let you know if you aren't sure and ask them. I applaud you, sir.

I believe it is important to respect people and how they desire to be referred to. I was going to say choose to but people don't choose who they are!! I just wish everyone could live their way and respect each other. It saddens me that the discrimination and hatred I witnessed in the 1980's is still happening in the 21st Century.
