My Mum has been left in limbo over money as the government have yet to tell her what pension she is getting and the Ministry of Defence have yet to say what her RAF widows pension is. She sent my Dad's death certificate to the company who paid his works pension , which was about £80 a week , and just got a letter back that has made life so much easier for her!!! They have said she could chose either a yearly pension for life or a lump sum that works out equivalent to about 9 years of the pension 😱😱👏👏 she has decided to take the lump sum so she no longer has to worry about money for a few years. She still is waiting to get her other pensions sorted but this unexpected money will be a real help to her!! Obviously we would rather Dad be here than have money but this will certainly help make life a little easier🙂🙂
