Some people such as myself due to things that have happened to them in their life have a difficulty socialising with others, especailly of the opersite gender, even on the internet and sites such as theses and also socail media. I have for over twenty years lived as a virtual recluse with no RL friendships outside of my family!! This is as a result of suffering from PTSD due to being raped. I dont say this to garner sympathy but to explain my awkwardness in comunicating!!
I know inappropriate comments are not acceptable but i do not always know what is 'allowed' due to having such little social skills. I really appreciate it when i am picked up for overstepping the line and really do try to be respectfull!! If i have ever made any comments the SGs, Hopefuls or members have been inappropriate then i apologise!! Whether it is on here or socail media i have been known to overstep the mark by saying something i thought was okay in that situation but was not!!
Lastly as the heading says this kind of socail awkwardness is not something to be laughed at or dismissed. While there are people here and on social media who deliberately say creepy and unacceptable comments , there are also those like myself who genuinely have difficulty knowing how to converse. I am sure i am not the only member on here who has such difficulties and while i do not ask for any favouritism i do ask for a bit of understanding.
