Ha! I was assuming you meant the balloons, as I sincerely doubt anyone was impressed with my bowling. biggrin

So it's official. I resigned my position at the university. I'm just too busy with my real job to teach right now. No more professor Dick. I'm gonna miss it a little, I always get excited at the beginning of the school year. Two months from now when I would have been burned out I'll be grateful. smile

Why can't I get a stable crew. I had one for years. I have lost two cooks this week. Hopefully soon or else I'm gonna have to go wherever it is these guys are going.

Me too.

Can I come to the backdoor and apply for a job?

biggrin

The drawback to new restaurants... they're too slow to keep everyone on that they trained.

Unemployment, carry me through the slow period... PLEASE???

Long time, bro. I'm back under a new name as I left the site unwillingly under the last one. Here's a hint: cheftalk.

I've got a cook I'd be willing to give you. He's really good, too. Honest. whatever

Three days 'til my wife goes back to work. I have no sympathy. Today she said, "You know how it feels when you go back to work after a weeks vacation... well multiply that by twelve"
Piss off. I knew I should have stayed in school. Twelve weeks off and she is bringing home bigger paychecks than me the whole time. Envy is an ugly...

But you bring home the benefits right? That's what it's going to have to be like in my relationship, I have the awesome benefits so whoever I end up being with will hopefully have the paycheck to pay the bills.

We went to see laReve at Wynn for my b-day. It was cool in a French sort of way. Cheesy music but man can those people do amazing things with their bodies. THey make me want to give up on yoga they are so limber and strong. Almost went to Daniel Baluud's restaurant but wasn't hungry enough to enjoy it. Probably coudn't have gotten in...

Not that any of you should really care what the weather is like in Vegas, BUt, It was a beautiful cool day today. I took my dogs down the street to the desert and let them chase rabbits. I love that about my new neighborhood, Wildlife. I have lots of lizards in my yard and I saw a rabbit in my yard the other day....
