I am about to go to Great America and see some fire works!
Wednesday was a blast, even though I was sad to see my good friend and co worker go.
My weekend was filled with adventure and a lot of good times. I had Friday off, so some friends and I went to Great America, but when we got there they were closed! Since we were in the area, we decided to go to the Great Mall. (woo hoo for paydays!) I got 3 pairs of shoes, a new top, some cute undies, and a new pair of jeans, and all I spent was $20! (I was supper happy to find out that I had a forgotten gift card to H&M worth $40!) 
Then we get back to the theme park to discover that it is Gay Day! I was excited, but the two straight dudes that I was with didn't share my enthusiasm. I couldn't stop giggling while we were waiting in line, because they seemed so awkward bing surrounded by gays. I had a good time, and I think those two needed a little culture shock.
We left and got ready to go out to the city for a record release party with open doors, and open bar. But sadly when we got there all the booze was gone.
So we picked up a bottle and went back to my place to make to most of it.
I didn't go to bed until 4 then had to be at work the next day at 10:30. Christ. So I saved Saturday for recovery, to get myself ready for Sunday.
Sounds like there was lots of Great stuff around you. I don't believe I've ever heard of that area.

That would be a bit disconcerting to show up on Gay Day. I'd like to think I'm pretty open minded and could get by...
