The other night my roomate bleached my hair. I was tired of my plain old normal style and was desperste for something new. She used to work at Supercuts so I assumed she had a clue as to what she was doing.
Bleaching my hair was one of the most painful experiences of my life, more so than getting my chest tattooed.
My scalp was on fire for 30 minutes. Which seemed like a life time of agonizing pain.
I still need to finish it, it is a brassy orange.
But when it is finished I will post a pic and you all will be amazed, and I will briefly feel as if it was all worth it.
Tonight I am going to see Superbad. I hope it is as good as everyone raves it is.

I did bleach my hair several times in the past but it shouldn't hurt ... light burning sensation is ok ... but worse than a chest tattoo definetely not !
Maybe the peroxide your friend was using was way too strong for your hair type ... It would have been better to bleach several times with a lighter formula ( with 2 days between each bleach sessions ) than burning your scalp !
Hope the final result will be ok though ... can't wait to see !
