My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer yesterday.

I am in shock, so much so that I feel as if my skin would bruise if you were to flick me gently.
I know that hundreds of women find out they have breast cancer every day but you just never think it will happen to you or to your loved one.

My mom always had such long hair growing up, so thick that an elastic band couldn't fit around it twice.
I have memories of brushing her hair as a child and I can't bear the thought of her losing her hair.



I am at a loss for words
