I tended to many tender perennials today, but it was the allure of the minty green annuals that truly melted my photosynthetic heart. Pro Mix is my friend.

My feline companion Manitou is in Nirvana compared to the apartment dwelling hell we both experienced in Kitchener. I can't believe how many mice he catches up here! I don't get too down on him for the prolific mouse murders, because he does not play with them when he catches them, unlike most 'domestic' cats. I try not to project my beliefs on him...I figure, the day I can reach to lick my balls, that's the day he'll have a reassesment of his carnivorism.

I finished a herb/rock garden today, and shall post some pics of Manitou fucking around in it. I really wish he had opposable thumbs so that I had someone to jam with.

I prefer the term 'eclectic' to 'kaleidoscopically bored'.
