Long time, no update....
I can't understand why people close to me get so freaked out by their birthdays. I know at least two that seem to view them as more of an excuse to measure their failings and what they haven't achieved, and that seems so inherently futile and depressing to me.
My 26th was last Saturday and I woke up full of joy and anticipation, thinking "this year, anything is possible".
I'm really settling into life here in FL - I have a great business that I actually run, a wonderful family and good friends I go out with on a regular basis.
Also, every day brings surprises - most good, a few excellent, some not so good - that make me stop and be grateful for how well my life is going.
Thanks to my therapist, I'm finally starting to believe my own press releases - I'm smart, funny, beautiful, wealthy, kind and good-hearted with a ton of business talent and an restless, inquisitive mind.
I am a good person with much to celebrate and love, and the only way I could disappoint myself now is to not cherish every moment I have.
I can't wait to get older and have more experiences and happenings and successes to look on with a glow of contentment, knowing that it was me that made it possible.
I am living well, and could not be happier.
