BUT!! How to turn apple seeds into cyanide. And why I have this knowledge in my brain.....

So, how this came about is a pinup pageant a few years ago, my theme was femme fatale. There was daywear, eveningwear and nightwear....
So I decided i'd look up *fun* ways to *ahem* knock someone off hypothetically. I was a little worried about what someone would think if they read my search history haha. So I was going to do a pinup secretary vibe where I teach women how to turn apples into an indigestible toxic substance. I have a weird brain and watch too much Bailey Sarian ok.... (although this came before I discovered Queen Bailey)
So, apple seeds each contain a teeny tiny amount of amygdalin, a sugar-cyanide molecule. The hard coating, and the fact you would need literally hundreds of them prepared a certain way means that apple seeds are safe to swallow in small amounts. It's also found in a bunch of other fruits (like cherries and peaches). Once the broken up apple seeds are in your tum tum, the stomach acids are actually the culprit. Those darn pesky digestive enzymes.....
So yeah, maybe an apple a day keeps the doctor away.... but the same cant be said for 50 apples a day..... even if you dont end up D E D dead.... you can still get wicked side effects like nausea, vomiting, stomach cramps and more. So yeah, 10/10 don't recommend trying this at home folk. I do hope you enjoyed my little bit of useless information though <3
