And I’m so very thankful that I finally had the guts to shoot my first SG set all those years ago. I always thought “ I need to lose weight first”, or “ i’m not as beautiful as those other women”. I’m glad I stopped listening to that harmful inner voice, and stepped into a world where I feel so incredibly welcomed and loved.
No matter who wins this month, all four of us know that we are welcomed and loved in this community. Turning pink has never been my main goal for shooting for suicide girls, it has always been these exact feelings that I’m feeling right now. I have met idols who have turned into friends, I get to interact with humans all around the globe, I’ve created some of my most favourite photo shoots, I have made some of the best memories of my life, all because of suicidegirls.
And these are all of the reasons why I went to bed so happy. All of these and so many more, but they all centre around this amazing website.
One of the things I’m looking forward to once the world settles down and finds it’s new normal, is my next SG shootfest. My next chance to make more happy memories and take some rad photos.
I really miss my humans so much.
