So I'm feeling chatty! "Uh oh" I hear you murmur? 😉
I decided to do a blog with 10 random facts about me, so you get to know me a little more. Maybe you can tell me some random facts about you too?
1. I can weld. Since cars are a passion of mine and my partner can make cool shit, he taught me to weld and do stuff with carbon fibre and resin. I absolutely love it. I've helped bag my Datsun and helped channel/door his Rodeo. I also made my own roof racks.
2. I have lived in Queensland and Victoria, Australia and graduated from primary school twice due to their change in schooling. But I didn't graduate high school, as I started working instead.
3. I was a Tom boy, punk rocker as a teenager. I used to HATE my body and wore baggy clothes and listened to NOFX, Reel Big Fish and Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and so much more.
4. I loooooove to read, and got that from my dad. I can read a book in a day. One of my best things to do is just sit and read. Especially sci-fi and thrillers.
5. I don't watch a lot of tv, but I love watching movies with my love. My favourite movie would have to be Anchorman.
6. I have wanted to be an SG for as long as I can remember, and it has helped me get a new awareness of my body and a wonderful appreciation of being naked.
7. My 'number' is 7. I don't know if I believe in luck but it pops up a lot and I love the number. It's also my partners number.
8. I dyed my hair purple when I volunteered for Relay for Life, and that's how it has stayed since. It's a great opener to talk about RFL still.
9. I was in a car accident 3 days after my birthday 5 years ago. Severe whiplash and bursitis in my shoulder and hip, PTSD and anxiety has lead to Fibromyalgia. Chronic pain and fatigue on the daily. It's not fun, but I'm working to be healthier and have a better life. I'm pretty open about it so if you have any questions feel free to ask.
And lastly....
10. I have worked in many different jobs. Starting work at 15 installing shelving and pallet racking in the family business, hospitality, retail and administration work. I'm currently working as a receptionist at a tattoo studio where my best friend works.
So that's in a nutshell. I make stuff, I live with a chronic illness and am just random personified.
