This is very exciting, this mixer is simply amazing. I love the feel of it, the eq's are huge (and don't touch the vocal mid's) the faders are solid, the whole thing is solid. The effects loop is very cool, its looping through Wavelab's real time fx and they sound crisp enough, need a proper outboard though. The best thing about it is the sound, with my Quad's and my KEF 104/2's there is no noticable hum and sound is a good as i think it will be off my Technics/M44G combo. Geeky as this all sounds, its made me quite happy. Money well spent.
On a side note .. Merit Hemmingson - Plays on RCA Sweden has 2 massive hammond club tracks and an amazing hip-hop sample groover as it says in the notes
"Original sounds from an unusual source .. for the person responsible for this exciting brew of big hammond organ sounds is a pretty Swedish girl: Merit Hemmingson" this is followed by

She's quite sexy too, while 85% of the album is real nonsense. Those 3 tracks cricky, she has a top class backing band as well (Sabu Martinez & Tony Westerling) but she hits the groove and is the star. I love albums and stories like this.
