well, i'm not just recording into a computer... i'm recording into a recording console that plugs into my computer. my soundcard is the stock g5 soundcard, so i'm not sure that would be a good idea; i don't want to have to deal with super-low levels to avoid clipping.

yeh, i gave up that idea the first day i got the thing... the lag is awful. i need to get at vestax about the two lovely master outs that cannot function simultaneously.
anyway, what kinda software would i need to record the shit on my computer? i usually use wiretap program to record streams and stuff.. it doesn't have a good dynamic meter display. i don't want to clip or anything, and i know that tends to be an issue with going straight to stock soundcards.
