my insureance approved this experimental procedure and i hit the table monday may 18th.

i'll bi recovering in the hospital at least a week and 6 - 8 weeks out of the hospital for recovery.

I will be bored as hell..

Well I met with the surgeon today. Basically if my Pancreas is producing "enough" insulin they can do this Islet replacement thing. If not then there is no reason to waste $40,000 of my and my Insurance companies money, and they just remove the Pancreas and get me on a donation list.

Yeah, I am hopeless when it comes to that stuff. I can do a lot of things and learn most things quickly but when it comes to my computer (especially for business apps) I am completely lost. Thank god my dad has great support staff. biggrin

So, yesterday (12/30) was my wife's & mine's second , second; wedding Anaversary. Had a nice seafood dinner, drove 2 hours in blizzard-like conditions, spent the night in a fancy hotel.
