What Are the Symptoms of Pancreatitis?
For acute Pancreatitis:
* Sudden, intense pains in the middle of the abdomen, often beginning 12 to 24 hours after a large meal or a bout of heavy drinking. The pain may radiate to your back.
My mother has the same disease that I do, she compares this to the pain of child birth, and tells me that she would rather have another child.
* Fever.
* Clammy skin.
sweaty, icky, dont touch me
* Nausea or vomiting.
I threw up so much last time they put tubes down my nose, into my stomach, to stop me from vomiting up my sphincter. They had a fancy medical term for what they did tome it was called in abating. But the fancy name had nothing to do with the barbarian nurse shoving the 1/8th PVC hose down my nose, through my esophagus and down into my stomach. The other end was hooked to a suction pump, its goal to keep my stomach empty so I wouldnt vomit any more.
Oh, and let me tell you THAT is the reason That i cannot eat Turkey and Giblet Gravy. The Smell of Giblet Gravy reminds me of vomiting until my intestines start emptying out... Into my mouth.
* Abdominal distention and tenderness.
* Rapid pulse.
last time it was 180bpm, they thought I was having a heart attack.
* Excessively foul, bulky stools.
if you knew me this one would be a given even the nurse (the one who got caught in the broke down elevator with my seeping stool container) will attest to!
* Abdominal distention.
* Development of diabetes if insulin-producing cells of the pancreas become damaged.
yep Im diabetic
