What would normally have been a holiday weekend filled with plans, turned out to be very low key. I spent a lot of time reflecting on the recent breakup with my girlfriend. It's always a shock when you have to get used to such a huge part of your life suddenly being gone. The good thing is I believe we will be friends at some point. Just not at the moment, we both need time.

So, I participated in some retail therapy.

I splurged and got myself a new home theater system! This really was not an impulse purchase though; I have been planning on this for awhile. So now I have a nice surround sound system to play my iPod through. I have Netflix set up on it and the Blu-ray is awesome.

I am still sad, but I'm drowning my sorrows in high tech electronics.
