¡Ay! I am so sorry I haven't blogged anything of interest for a month! I have been so totally absorbed in my regular job that I haven't had much time for recreational time on the computer, let alone creative writing. The good news is I have received a promotion within my company that came with a sizable pay raise. However, I'm going from being an inventory expert to a Service Technician, which means I have MUCHAS cosas nuevas que tengo que aprender, many new things that I have to learn. I can only hope that I can get my training done as quickly as possible, because my team needs my support right away. It looks like the training will take a couple of months! I am doing my best not to be stressed about it. It's exciting; after nearly 12 years with the same company, I feel like I'm going back to school and starting over.
In addition to that, the weather here in the Northwest has turned cold and snowy! I spent $400 on new tires for my car today, and I'm glad. If this winter is going to be as cold and wet as it has been so far, I want the best traction I can get. I'm going to have to commute for some of my training.
I've missed out on a lot of cool stuff on SG over the past few weeks, I'll have to play catch up this week. Thanks to the gorgeous @sugary for following me, and I'm so happy to see the mighty Pinkzilla, @luna with a set in MR! Two other new hopefuls have added me to their following list, which is another nice bonus. I have lots more to catch up on, so I'd better get to it. It's only 12 degrees fahrenheit outside right now. Brrr! Maybe tomorrow I'll post a snow picture!
