I tried to write a blog two nights ago, and after writing with feeling for some minutes, I hit "Post Blog" and everything I wrote just disappeared. Entonces, aqui estoy, listo tratar de otra vez. Coincidentally, the new SG redesign appeared about the same time a personal demon came out in my life: depression. I have been fighting depression for the past few weeks, and sometimes I feel like I just want to fade into the darkness and be done with everything. However, I almost never give up, so I listened to "Screaming for Vengeance" by Judas Priest, and attempted to throw myself back into life again, whether I feel like it or not. So far so good. I've adapted to many of the quirks of the new SG site, I went through an internal job interview for a different position within the company I work for, and applied for a different job altogether. I've worked for the same company for almost 12 years; it's just not the same. It's time for a change, I think.

I took the time to communicate with two SG friends, one new, another more acquainted. In the process, I was reminded that others are usually suffering more greatly than I am. La vida es dura, pero oportunidades son infinitas.
