There was a very peaceful protest about 5 minutes from my house on Sunday so I went down to take a few pictures. The Eucharist Congress is being held in Dublin all week so it was bound to cause a stir for a few people. I was kinda hoping there would be more out protesting and around but it was a pretty poor show. No that it bothers me as I'm atheist and could not care less about religion but I understand why people have gone against the church and I agree with them. I was hoping to get some nice action protest pictures but ah well, we'll wait until something major is going on for that.
The only group that were really there representing was members from LGBT Dublin so I got a few photos of them.
It really was a shame though no one else was there, I'll have to pop down again later in the week to see if there is anyone kicking up a fuss.
