i am stuck in texas on my way to moving out to oakland from athens ga. my van broke down on monday and i'm still waiting on parts. it's actually been kind of fun, other than the money worries. i'm meeting lots of really nice people, hanging out at the tire shop (which seems to be a local hotspot), drinking beer, and watching pro wrestling on tv.

and though i wasn't expecting to have to get a hotel room for four or five nights, i do like staying in hotels. watching too much tv, staying up late.

supposedly the parts show up tomorrow. we'll see...
