mmm...glad you recognized my work! well, *coughcough* not to pull my own chord or anything but you are right i do have a picture from his blood paintings on my arm! biggrin and i have that book as well...and damn, agreed, it is tiny! i kinda collect his works...i have a lot of framed prints of his on my walls. not original copies of course but the prints i have are damn cool none-the-less!

anyway, i had the absolute fortune to see the blood exhibit in NY...now that was something! did you check out the dimensions it lists for the blood paintings?

Hey Mister! How can you be poopy when you're getting all this love?? Migranes suck <<hugs>>, sorry to hear you have another one. HERE is pic of me at my friends house checking my dance posture. I got a paying (well, kinda) gig taking some photos, so I'll be missing my class tomorrow (wed).

The tattoo consult went well. I had about 10 pictures and scraps of art i wanted to incorporate and Jen helped me get a concrete idea of what could be done. If you're looking for an artist, ask around, goto a local convention (tattoo convention, show, expo), buy a magazine and see what you like. If you have an idea of what you want, just talk the person--go with your gut. My friend charges $200 for 3 hours tattoo time and $25 hr for art preparation time. She estimated 3 hours for art time, and i've booked 3 sessions, a week apart to help with healing time. It's going t o be a big backpiece--well half back, but detailed. (FYI, she estimated spending at least 30 hours on a full detailed back piece, for example).

I'm shooting to have it all done by Sistah Campout (see pic Here) So i can dance with my back showing...yay! smile
