Ya, so recently (Monday) I was blackmailed into signing a contract with my employer essentially stating that I won't quit for a year. I had a day to decide if I'd stay at an underpaid, unappreciated, shit job or be fired...fuck! There's nothing like breaking down in a fit of tears on a cell phone with your mother infront of a catatonic elderly woman, a serbian housekeeper and a mexican healthcare aid...shit, ass, crap, damn!
So I signed their shit contract... after seeking legal advice. Since their contract isn't worth a damn, I'll just keep looking for a new job all secret like.
It wouldn't be so bad except I'm the only employee they've made sign a 'binding' contract... of course they did give me a whopping fifty cent raise! Well jumping Jesus on a rubber crutch, now I can retire to the south of France! Assholes!
...sigh... not a glass half full day, not a glass half empty day, more of a where's the fucking bottle day!
On a completely unrelated topic, if you're into modern, youth vs. establishment, quasi-mystical kung fu flcks, 'Volcano High' is worth checking out.
