I'm off back to MEATH for the week!!!! Can't wait, man I love my county.
Did a gig in ennis last night in a bar called Charlie Stewarts, cool place. Since Meath had just beaten Tyrone in the quarter finals that day, I was still wearing my jersey when I turned up. What happened next was a night of shouting abuse between myself, a crowd from Cork, another crowd from Kerry and a Clare group on a hen night. Naturally, being from Meath I won. Of course, it helped that I had a microphone to talk over everyone.
I'll be without internet access for about a week now, but it'll be worth it. It's gonna be unreal.
