I found myself stuck in traffic today for two hours (because a tanker truck decided to catch on fire) really wishing for tinted windows and a girlfriend riding shotgun.
So I left for a business trip and totally forgot to bring boxers. Rollin commando all week and you know what, I freakin love it. That is all.
I just listened, I mean really listened, to Let Her Cry by Hootie for the first time. I've heard the song a billion times but never really listened to it. It gave me goose bumps.
It got to 92 today in Seattle. Hot for a city where no one has air conditioning. I think its still about that hot inside my apartment. Looks like no sleep again tonight. A little SG and then some reading. Not a bad substitute for sleep. 

I feel like I need a drastic change in my life. I have a really strong desire to move into a little cabin on the coast, get liver-destroyingly drunk and write a novel or something. I'm getting sick and tired of everything in my life and I'm not happy about it.

So it was a really stressfull weekend. Had my first race (which went really, really well) but we also lost a member of our local racing communtiy. It was a tragic end to an exciting weekend. Add to that catching a little strain of the flu on Monday and its been a long week.

Survived my first race today. It was fucking insane. As a whole it went really well. My lap times were pretty consistent and I wasn't holding anyone up. No one crashed. Awesome.
