We had a wonderful time yesterday at Sky's birthday. It was wonderful to see everyone!

When we came home last night Barry was sitting in the nest again. The budgies woke me up at 7. I put a sweater over their cage and went back to bed. I woke up again at 9 and saw Barry's partner Iris sitting in the nest in their cage. She hopped out when I started feeding the birds. I looked in the nest and there was an egg! I went downstairs to make breakfast and celebrate. When I came back upstairs I looked in the nest again and there was another egg She must have laid one yesterday while we were in London. I'm hoping she'll have some more bundles of joy soon, and we'll hear the pitter patter of little wings in a few weeks
