i had an interview at whole foods yesterday and i was stoked. the interview well extremely well until they told me they had 107 people for 2 positions. At that very moment I knew I wouldn't get the job. I mean I know I'm extremely qualified but at that point it was just a numbers game. A numbers game of who is 1% more qualified than me.
So when I got the call today saying thanks but no thanks, I was not surprised. But the hiring manager sounded sincere when he said he would be hiring this fall and I would be on his list then.
Le sigh......back to pounding the pavement and internet for a job!!!!
on the positive side; this news has not made me depressed because I didn't get my hopes up
