so...i went to a show at cbgs not too long ago...and it was a really good show....now im 26 i remember when mosh pits meant going in and getting rid of aggression and then hugging the guy you floored, its an understanding if you go in to the pit youre there to have fun and release not hurt anyone....so back to the show....great hardcore bands playing ...everything is going great, till these bunch of aholes jump in and actually start swinging at people....litterally aiming for them....i was like WTF! anyways...as the bands played on..the pit was getting more brutal and i was just getting tired of the way these guys were acting and was about to snap so i decided to remove my self and enjoy the rest of the show from a different location....so next thing you know a fight breaks out....well let me repharse that..an assault happnes....6 on 1...6 grown man (same aholes) jumped this one 16 year old boy..for what you may ask...for pushing off one of the guys that was on him...the kid was not even in the pit...that just made me sick to my stomach....point is ..im very sad that CBGBs will be closing soon....but if things like this are going to keep happening all of the clubs were bands go play will be closed down..for anyone in NYC who remembers Coney Island high closing down..that was a sad weekend....anyways..just rambling and ill go now....
