How bout I share a little snippet of my past few days with you?
SATURDAY NIGHT.... VELVET REVOLVER .
What can I say? I'm SPEECHLESS!! Fucking AMAZING .. !! One of the best shows I have EVER seen in my life. I had soooooo much fun at this gig! I was about 10 feet from the stage. You should have seen me rockin out. haha. And yes, I was that annoying girl that you see at gigs on some poor guy's shoulders....for a song anyway....but fuck you, I didn't care!!
What a nice young man he was, to carry my weight for the span of one song. I was very thankful indeed! But I have a feeling that this dude, a total stranger, wasn't complaining much. haha. At least he had a story to go home and tell, right?. Sitting on a guy's shoulders with a little miniskirt is NOT EASY my friends, let me tell ya. 
These guys put on a great great show!! I got split up from my friend Lisa as soon as the first song started, but I didn't give a fuck! I'm still in awe......seriously.

SUNDAY...
I got to see my niece who I don't have the pleasure of seeing that often. Isn't she adorable??
Actually, this isn't her.... but it looks just like her! haha. Sorry but my lame ass doesn't have a current picture of her. I'll get one soon of BOTH my precious lil nieces so you guys can see them. They are both 2 years old and each one definitely has their own personality! So innocent and pure.... Nothing like their Auntie Ann!
Anyway, they live in Silverado Canyon which is a BEAUTIFUL location up in the mountains. Their back yard looks something like this.....
Sometimes I contemplate getting out of this RAT RACE and moving to a place like that. ::sigh:: ..... NAH!!

LAST NIGHT ....
I got to ride in this beauty down PCH with her top down at sunset.... FASSSST, I might add. Just the way I like it! hehe.

I got surprised with a gift....
Mmmmmmmm........YUMMY.
....
From there went out to an AMAZINGLY nice dinner at an excellent restaurant for a succulent meal of filet mignon and shrimp, crab-stuffed mushrooms and my absolute FAVORITE drink in the world...
THE MOJITO.
Rum, Mint Leaves, Sugar, Club Soda. Not too sweet, just MM-MM good.
...
Then, off to The Henry Fonda to see this guy with his accompanying band...

Another great GREAT show!!! I love that HEAVY guitar tone. Their fuckin melodic hooks.....soOOOO rad. And that drumming.....so hard, so loud....I love it!!! Also one of the best shows I've been to. I was so fortunate to be able to see them at a venue as small and intimate as the Henry Fonda.
So yes, that is it my friends!! My life definitely DOESN'T suck at the moment. I say this not to rub it in, or to proclaim how "wicked awesome" I am.....but because I am GRATEFUL. It's time to start counting my blessings....
