It was raining as I drove to work this morning....I mean absolutely POURING in these gusty sheets of rain. There was this woman standing on the corner of a major intersection with a baby in her arms. The baby was crying. She had his head covered with a thin little blanket. Meanwhile, SHE had on a thick raincoat with a hood...obviously dressed appropriately for a storm. It was so windy that she was trying desperately to keep the blanket from flying away. I could see his bare legs sticking out from beneath the blanket. She didn't even have pants on him! The baby was crying hysterically. It made me sad....
