Enough with all these lame-ass reality TV shows. Dude, enough. SERIOUSLY.
Hung out with Exene for the first time last night and had a great time. She is an awesome singer!! We went to the bar she works at and she played me her band Blood Soaked Hands on the jukebox. They're pretty rad! Very much like the band X (hence the name "Exene") which just happens to be one of my all-time favorite bands. The other song I picked to play on the jukebox was Black Sabbath's "The Wizard". I fucking LOVE that song...and it ruled hearing it play at an earsplittingly loud volume.
So anyway, yeah, Exene is way cool and she has a fucking rad house and now I understand why she digs her guy so much.
*winkwink, nudgenudge* hehe.
Today I decided to call in to work and I went and hung out with my roommate-to-be for the first time. We went and ate some yummy mexican food in downtown Huntington and drank a pitcher of a classic margarita on the rocks (with salt). YUMMMMMMY.
It was soooooo nice to be outside by the beach today and not stuck in my office in front of the computer. The sun and the breeze felt so good on my bare skin. And she is such a sweet girl!!!! She's a surfer and she fucking kick ass at it. She's gonna teach me how to surf (something I've always wanted to do because I looooove swimming).
So all in all it was a good day, and it's not over! Tonight I am going to see King's X play and I'm excited. Should be a good show.
Life is good, and is just getting better.
