So feeling a tad better today. I just have decided to let shit go. Whatever happens...happens. No need to get worked up about things. I say this but do I mean it.... well in theory maybe I mean it. Reality...all I can say is that I will do my best.
I had a job interview today at an Insurance and Annuities company localy owned here in KC. It was interesting. First of all I was 15 minutes late. Which is not always good. But luckily I got to do testing first so it didn't matter so much. I hate testing...grammar, spelling, math, typing test, letter writing. Ick. I did fine. But still I hate them. Then I interviewed with 2 people. One from a cutomer serice are that deals with the policy holders, and one from an area that deals with the insurance agents. The chick from the first group was umm not interested at all. I half expected her to look at her watch and roll her eyes. Which kind of made me feel like shit becuase I know that I am smart and capable of answering some phone calls and doing account maintanence. I should not be offending. I think that she was looking for to fill more or a trainer type position. The guy who has the agent dept was however very interested. I got called back for a 2nd interview with that group. So I have to call the HR lady tomorrow and schedule that. Umm my next obsticale if that is succesful is the drug screen.
It's been a couple of weeks. I think that I am fine. I might detox just because I am paranoid. *shrug*
As for the interviewing...well I hate doing interveiws. I never know what to say, especialy in 2nd and 3rd interviews. So I am asking all of you lovely sg peeps for advice here. How do I prepare for this next interview? It's been a few years since I have gone through this process on the corporate level.
Thanks
