okay...for those of you who are actually interested in the comic...i am no longer going to give a release date...not until i am holding a printed sample in my hand that is. every missed release date i fear lowers my credibility in the eyes of those anticipating the comic. so, until it is actually printed, this will be my last real update on it, so, here goes:
the continuing problem of finding people to pose for the comic has gotten to the point where Identity Press asked me how well i draw...so...i told them the truth, i can draw one picture really well, anything with action, but to draw a series of pictures leading up to and following that one picture i suck. it all becomes anti-climactic which is why i'm a writer and not an artist. so, what we're doing now is i'm mapping out every page (again) and i'm focusing on drawing only what's important in every picture. basically at this point it's a case of if you can see what the picture is trying to show you, good enough. so in other words, i'm still going nuts on getting this book out. my birthday is in 2 weeks, i'm trying very hard to get it done to send to the press by/on my birthday. that would be one hell of a b-day let me tell ya. i'm trying...and that's all i'm gonna say till that day comes when i'm holding issue one in my grubby little hands.
but, aside from that, i hope all is well for everyone in the land of suicidegirls. damn we've got some lovely ladies putting up new photo sets, i checked out Pearl's lastnight, holy shit my jaw hasn't dropped to the floor in such arousal since Echo's last photoset. and Iggy, hell yeah, the art of drooling had all but been erased from my life till i began coming to SG. long live suicide girls!!!
