yet another day in the life of me:

i don't really have anything of value to talk about, aside from the fact that i'm pathetic and STUPID!!

so i went to the pet store to get some fish, goldfish betta whatever, i wasn't quite sure yet. but eventually we ended up going to 3 pet stores (really weird that two of them were feed stores and the other had no pets just equipment).

anyway, upon going to the pet store, for whatever reason, i decided to get a rat . . . which is rediculous because we aren't allowed to have anything other than fish in our dorms.

but anyway, i got a rat HER name is Mr. Squeaks how cute, eh? well at least for now, until i can come up with something better.

anyway, back to me being stupid, right? so i brought her back to my dorm, snuck her inside and realized, shit the water bottle is too big for the cage. so being the smart college student i am, i cut a hole in the lid where the water bottle could squeeze through the opening.

HOWEVER, this apparently wasn't such a bright idea because it made the water bottle sit at an angle, which meant that the water just openly glugged out.

so of course the smart thing to do would be to take the water bottle out and put the water in a shot glass (every college student has at least one) so the rat still had water.

being even stupider, i didn't even think to close the hole, i have no idea what i was thinking!

so needless to say the first day of having this rat, i see why they don't want them in the dorms. i woke up and she was gone, so i had to rip my room apart just to find out that she had crawled under the bed.

which means although i'm stupid it has a happy ending and to fill the hole i put the water bottle back in . . . i think i'm okay for now, but i'm going to look into getting another lid i think . . .

she's so cute tho!! you all should see her
