alright, i'm getting really tired of my stupid job. i'm a student so i don't make that much money, nor do i really have the time to work that much either. you would think that they would understand that the shifts that us students DO pick up are necessary because it's the only time we have available to work. Needless to say my work decided that i wasn't supposed to have this shift this morning, so not only did they strip me of half my hours, play favorites (manager's sister got the shift), but they didn't tell me and i ended up getting up at 5 o'clock for no reason. it's so lame. Not to mention i had to go all the way over there and all the way back. i simply work for my college too, so you would think of everyone this place would understand that the most!! no, but of course not. and that doesn't even explain the fact that they've done this to me three times. i'm on time, i get the job done and everyone around there likes me, so wtf is the deal? is a little respect too much to ask? i mean to take the shift is one thing, to not tell me and have me look stupid because i'm showing up for a shift that i've not only had for three weeks straight, but am supposed to continue to have. i guess i'm just frustrated is all. i mean how am i supposed to react to this?

take it like the rest of the world and let the frustration build up so much until one day you go fucking postal, and then when they ask why did deviance kill everyone at her job ill say because she just felt like it.

Its so uncool when bosses play favorites..but i must say it almost seems to be the norm for that kinda shit.

Best thing i can think of is have a talk with the boss let him know whats up with your timetable give him a contact number to get a hold of u incase theres a shift change..
P.S. dont let the talk become personal..keep cool,stay professional..u can use this against him if you use your head..
Coments like,Good communication makes for a more efficient work place,And its kind of unprofessional to change someones shift without informing them. will fuck with his/her head.
Last but not least u could always call in the night or shift before your's to make sure your on the schedule.
