Okay, the boy updated, and so shall I.
I started my job this past week.....2 days of training (Monday and Tuesday) and then I got called in on Wednesday. Damn those weathermen. You say "chance of winter weather" and everyone rushes to the grocery store.
Good news though, on Tuesday, when I left work, I had a voicemail on my cell. Assuming it was from Will, I checked it, and was surprised by a woman's voice. "Miss Wheeler, this is Shirley Wicker from the Harnett County office. I was calling in reference to your application for the Animal Shelter Attendant position. We would like to schedule an interview for Thursday, February 10th, at 10 am. Could you please call me back and confirm this?" So, now I have another interview for a better paying job WITH benefits. Guess the old saying is true. You gotta have a job to get a job. 
So, we'll see how that goes, and I'll let everyone know.
I started back into roller derby this past month after a month and a half break, and it's totally kicking my ass. In a good way, though. We have a bout scheduled for March 13th, so mark your calendars. I'll have more info as it is passed on to me. And for those living in the area, we will also be skating in the St. Paddy's Day parade, so put on your green, and come out and holler at us. We just split into our finalized teams, and we have actual team names with themes. One team is the Trauma Queens, and I will be skating for the Debutante Brawlers. I totally need a tan before I put on that much white. It's gonna be totally hot though, so get ready to come out and support us. Some of the girls (on the Debutante's) may need escorts, so if any of you boys are interested, let me know.
I had a dream about Interrobang last night. Not gonna tell you what it was about, though. I need to discuss it with her first.
