Ummmm....yeah. It's kinda not Christmas Eve anymore. Way past time to write a new journal entry. 
I had an okay New Year's Eve. Seems like every year is becoming more and more of a letdown. I remember when I used to be excited about sitting at home with my parents and setting up the card table so that my brother and I could sit there, drink Welch's sparkling grape juice, and watch the ball drop in Time Square. My mom made us snacks, and sometimes my neighbors had fireworks, and sometimes the redneck down the road just fired shotguns into the sky. Ahhhhh.....the days of innocence. This year, I was upset because I didn't even get drunk enough to have a hangover the next day. Pathetic, huh?
I plan to be leaving Raleigh soon. less than 6 months to go. Anyone in Pennsylvania? Looks like that's where I'm headed. Finally time for me to do some school stuff. It took me long enough. I just hope I have the nerve to do it when the day comes.
Fuck this. Journal entries should never make this much sense.
I hope everyone had a less than horrible New Year's. That means you at least smiled once.
