Yesterday, I tried to get an elderly man's newspaper out of the ditch (so he wouldn't get hurt trying to get it), and I fell. And I got hurt. Today, I tried to get a bucket out of the road so that it wouldn't cause an accident. I almost got hit by a semi-truck. I think my "good samaritan" days may be limited.

Just to add to this, I went to help out a co-worker by doing some work orders for him. The first one I did ended up flooding someone's house. Of course I didn't find this out until 11pm that night. Gotta love being on call. Bah.
