I was saddened to hear of Hunter Thompsons passing and even more sad to find that no one seemed to care, so in the past week I took it upon myself to make references to Fear and Loathing.

When dealing with customers at work:

"as your insurance agent I strongly advise you to..."
This presents a bit of a problem as (1) I'm not technicaly their insurance agent. I just work for her. (2) Seeing as I'm not their insurance agent I shouldn't be strongly advising them tword anything.

To my friend trying to get around a rain puddle:

"Hop! Quick! Like a bunny."

I've also been listening to white rabbit and doing a lot of drugs.
You know; in memory of Hunter. Not for my own personal wanting of drugs or anything...

That's almost as good a faux-eulogy as what Warren Ellis wrote about Thompson's death. Although I'm such Mr. T would've been much happier to have someone doing drugs and bamboozling customers in his honor than writing about his literary merits.

Can I have some drugs, pretty please? smile
