Back in Berkeley. Got in late yesterday evening after being stuck in traffic produced by departing Reggae on the River fans...took almost twice as long to make the drive as usual.

last night's concert kicked ass...I had the perfect seats, thanks to a friend. Although admittedly this same friend poured a way too healthy drink before the show, and I woke up regretting it this morning...oh well, I've got nothin' to do today anyway.

birthday went off without a hitch, got some great gifts, and even better friends.

Slight let down this morning when I found out that the local object of my lust isn't going to be able to make it to Sunday's BBQ/party, but feeling better, since I am going to see The Waifs tonight...gotta go press my slacks and shirt for the pre-show dinner. And locate...

uggghhh. hours wasted in the office today trying to get an external hard drive working on an Apple G4 desktop. It never did recognize the drive...I hate working on Macs...they make me feel inferior...like I lack some sort of innate hipness required to operate their software/hardware.
