life is going swimmingly, thanks for the b-day wishes.

edited to point out that the kittens seem to be indifferent to punk rock...no matter how much I try to get them to rock out with me...silly kitties.
truthwhore:
the kittens are so punk rock. they were all on top of the tables and everything.

I must quickly do a blog entry so that I can avoid having all of my birthday wishes being attached to my last, less joyful entry....now back to the party planning.

edit: thanks to those of you who have already wished me a happy happy.

I just got off of the phone with one of my best friends. Apparently a mutual friend of ours was in a car wreck last night, and is now in a coma in ICU...

I have suddenly just lost all of my motivation and want to just curl up in bed....

So I was going for secretive news bulletin in my last post, something that only those in the know would pick up on...but since that has apparently caused too much confusion, I will spell it out for you guys:

I GOT ACCEPTED TO LAW SCHOOL IN SF

in non related news, I...

What's a relief?

I've never really had faith in our "country" perse. Our system is to easily curroptable, and when combined with free market capitalism it fails to function.

I had a realization the other day on the train into the city After learning about the struggles in africa (first hand I know an amnesty intern, and my dad spent a lot of time there), as well as the rest of globe, I began to wonder why so many american's take their privledge forgranted. Then on the train it hit me. This system provides just enough convienience and luxury to it's poor that this, combined with a lack of education prevents any honest challenges that the people could level against the government from happening. It's pessimistic I know, but to me lately it seems to be the most realistic explination of why this nation fails to actively participate in it's government.

As for hitting rock bottom. I am not Tyler from Fight Club. I hit rock bottom when I was 18, and I almost died. I don't wish that on anyone. I do think though that those of us who have have a different outlook on life. Trust me ICMN I don't want this system to calapse, if it did Mogwa would most likely pass away (literally) out of my life, and that is something I never would want to see happen.

THe only potentially unifing factor in American politics is Health Care, but you have to get over the tax hurdle. Which, is easy, if you can just grab someone's ear long enough to say that if they payed more taxes it would be counter-acted by saying they would not have to pay high insurance costs...

You got Nixon to write you, you lucky dog you. wink She's one of the reasons we signed up for this site.

It is amazing how much random little stuff I need to get done before I leave town on monday....in related news, I am really sick of dealing with stupid people.
wallace:
i went to fiji when i was little - i LOVED it & want to go back there sooo badly! i've never been to cuba either or samoa. i think it's most likely that i'll go to samoa within the next couple of years, any maybe i'll try to hop over to fiji from there. smile
wallace:
gotta wait cos i have no money right now! plus i'm going to samoa to help my mom build her house & hopefully set up a bed & breakfast, but that won't be for a while cos we have to go through some crazy process to make that happen. oy.

where are you going on monday?

been a pretty mellow/good week so far. I am looking forward to getting out of town soon though. In general I can feel that I am missing out on some quality lounge time in the country...only 10 more days....

ps. 10pts to anybody who can tell me what my "about icmn" section translates as. Possibly even marriage if you can cite what it is from...

What I should be doing right now:
- Finishing up two very straight forward yet boring photoshop projects so I can get paid.
- Create my own business cards, so I can generate more photoshop projects, so I can get paid more.
- Write some D&D modules so my players don't mutiny this weekend...and so that my elite crew will still walk away from the...
